Coplins stables is part of the Coplins-Kennel and CoplinsStable establishment. Usually there is less than 10 horses living here, but we have room for 42 horses if needed. Most of our horses are used in daily work. We use horses and dogs to most of the basic chores like moving livestock from pasture to pasture, any kind of drafting and of course for basic riding. We have a couple of horses schooled in advanced dressage including above air movements like capriole and courbette. We have sled dogs and guard dogs and police dogs and other types of working dogs. We collaborate with the police and the County Administrative Board and help housing and nursing confiscated animals when needed. Once a month we get a visit from a veterinary who take care of our animals free of charge (except for lunch and coffee) and he extends his services to all animals living on our farm, whether they are ours our boarded by someone.

We are not officially a riding school nor a kennel school, but we will welcome the help from interested youths (or adults) and in return help train them in the care for animals according to their interest.

The main staff

Helena Zeegers

Helena is the owner of the whole Coplins Establishment. She has a finger in everything and nothing at once. Sadly for her, there's lots of paperwork to be done. Mostly she is seen with the dogs and she handles most conformation shows. She is into western riding mainly and she does much of the ground work training on horses stabled here. Her personal horse is 1061 Taigan Frostbite. She's recently broken up an engagement and moved to North America. She doesn't believe in magic or the supernatural.

Cedrick "Ced" Tammery

Ced is in mainly charge of the stables. He is an ex-soldier, (medieval cavalry - but we don't believe that since magic does not exist. ....or does it?) serious, quiet and efficient. He can appear to be cold and sometimes be a harsh task master. The stable girls always hanging around tend to fear him. No matter how scary he may seem to the average horse interested girl, to see him ride dressage is to forget time exist and start believing in the myths of centaurs. He generally rides with the reins in one hand. His riding skills are forged in battle so what to us looks like he is training the horse to dance with all the high schools and pretty moves has a much more serious edge to it to him.

Occasionally he will choose a seemingly random (but it isn't) person and give her or him lessons. Such lessons are hard work and may drive some to tears but they will improve their riding skills faster than they would believe. (Ced's ability to teach lent him the job of training new recruits [in his old world] in the basics of riding to war and his caring heart - yes he has one - meant he trained them to survive too.) He always has a moustache. He may be seen with any kind of beard or clean shaven chin, but there will be hair on his upper lip. His current mount is the Nordanner stallion 5174 Victor of the Skys owned by the Coplins Establishments, or his personal horse, 6829 Duncan the Cunning. Ced is secretly in love with "the Bosslady" Helena.

Haan

Haan is just like Ced an ex-soldier and from the same parallel world. (Except that is impossible! Whatever they claim!) They are best friends but could not be more different. Haan is always up to something, he gets lots of ideas and they rarely stay in his head - good or bad. Children love him, women love him, animals love him and men generally want to hang out with him. He is kind, funny good looking, goofy, cool, athletic, emphatic, generous and scared shitless of too much responsibility (like being an officer in war). Luckily, being responsible for the lives of all our dogs and partly for the rest of the animals on our grounds is a blessing to him. He loves it! He loves speed! Not cars and motorbikes so much luckily, but any kind of racing with dog or horse and that's why he is our No. 1 musher. He rides his own horse, 6715 Secret of the Sylvan Wind . Haan is also secretly in love. But with whom is a secret. Mainly because said person is completely oblivious and bro-zones him soo hard.

Breeding Rules

This is the most important rule!

No dogs, nor horses of any kind will be bred until they have reached mature age.

For dogs, they must be 2 years or older.

Horses must be at least 5 years old.

Full payment for a breeding must be done before a breeding is allowed to take place.

Unless we agreed differently BEFORE the breeding takes place - I will always require a slot to the resulting foal, or to be allowed to choose a puppy from the litter. I may choose not to use this right. If I choose to forgo it I will notify you as soon as the foal or litter is born so you can remove my name from reservation lists or slot list. If you plan to decease an individual I've got a breeding slot to, please notify me so I can get a chance to use it first. If you're planning to transfer it to another breed, you agree to let me retain my spot in its new breed, if I don't wish to use it before you decease it.

When it says "CLOSED" on the status, I'm still always open for negotiation. Note

Oh. And always follow the rules connected to the group of the individual you wish to breed to. I will give no refund for a breeding slot to a nordy if you get banned by the group for an instance.
