This is one of the largest paintings I've done and it was inspired by the first colourful pegasus I made. Now my thought was that this pegasus is "standing" ontop of a stormcloud and lightning is created by his hooves. I thought that was clearly visible, also I thought one would understand that where I've let the paint run on the bottom it is supposed to be rain. Apparantly this is not as clear to everyone as to me so I would appericiate suggestion on how to improve these things.
Very pretty! I love the colours, especially the colours that you used to make the black! Black is so much more interesting when its not, you know, black. xP
Thank you and I agree. I'm especially inspired by birdfeathers when I draw black. Like for an instance how the tailfeathers on magpies glisters in green, pink and blue without for loosing any of it's blackness.
